Integrity VPN is a Virtual Private Network service run by the Swedish non-profit 5th of July Foundation and sold by Internet Service Providers as an add-on service to broadband subscribers.
Secure structure
Integrity VPN is only available through Internet Service Providers, who can offer the service to their customers. This way, the 5th of July Foundation does not have to handle any payment or customer data, which means we have no way of knowing who the users of our service are.
This setup provides a huge privacy advantage, since no single party has enough information to connect a certain user to certain traffic.
Another advantage with this setup is that we, as a pure VPN operator, are not bound by the data retention laws that govern ISP’s. An ISP that starts their own VPN service would have to log their users’ traffic, according to the laws in Sweden and many other EU countries.
Reliable owners
We take privacy extremely seriously and do not log any data about the users. Many VPN operators claim this, but can you trust them? It’s often hard to find out who runs a certain VPN service, and it has been shown over and over again that VPN operators in fact have been logging user activity, despite claiming not to.

High-end performance
We want internet users to always connect through a VPN. But for such a habit to take root, a VPN must not slow down the user experience. If it does, users may become reluctant to use it – and the whole point with having a VPN is lost.
In order to not slow down the users’ connections, we keep investing in dedicated VPN hardware and researching new VPN protocols. We do not throttle traffic.
